During the time I lived in California, one of my favorite things to do was explore the places where nature merged with concrete, and those places were plentiful in the Bay Area. The Guadalupe River runs right through the most urban section of downtown San Jose, skyscrapers and overpasses looming over the trickling water. There were loads of pockets where nature had been preserved despite the growing city. I produced a number of panoramas depicting the wonderful cityscapes hoping that viewers would feel transported to these places.
